About

About Me

I am driven by a desire to shape a healthier world.  My life has been a lesson in resilience.  It has been marked by tragedy and triumph and now as a mature member of this world I am seeking to help those around me find healing and resilience that will help them to shape their lives and make this world better.  During my 28 years working in oil and gas I was moved by the struggles faced in our fast-paced lives, from balancing work and personal life to dealing with trauma from industrial accidents and personal tragedy.  So much is demanded of us, yet it can be difficult to find effective support when needed.  It became my mission to acquire the skills needed to help people overcome the trauma that holds them back.

Therapeutic Approach

What I do

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist in the province of Alberta, offering in-person and online therapy to residents of Alberta. I bring a significant depth of training and experience in the field, as well as life experience that contributes to an informed and compassionate approach to your therapy.  What I do is evidence-based, client centered, and trauma informed.  The modalities I use are recognized as highly effective by the World Health Organization, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, both the Canadian and American Psychology Associations, the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and numerous European trauma associations and research institutes.

My goal is to help you heal from adverse experiences and traumas and move towards finding enjoyment and fulfillment in living.
